Esbeide “Esby” Garcia-Mondragon, LCSW
Founder & Clinical Director
Esbeide, who many clients know as “Esby,” is the Founder and Clinical Director of Bienestar Therapy & Wellness. She provides clinical leadership and supervision to the practice’s associate therapists, helping ensure clients receive thoughtful, high-quality, culturally responsive care across the team.
With extensive experience in trauma-informed mental health care, Esbeide has worked with teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and complex family dynamics. Her background also includes work with foster youth, commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC), survivors of sexual abuse, and individuals with higher-acuity and complex needs.
Her clinical approach is strength-based, direct, and solution-focused, with an emphasis on helping people build confidence, strengthen self-worth, establish healthier boundaries, and break patterns of codependency or unhealthy relationships.
As Clinical Director, Esbeide is especially passionate about developing clinicians and creating a practice where clients can feel confident receiving care from any member of the Bienestar team. She provides ongoing supervision, consultation, and clinical guidance while maintaining a limited caseload.
At the heart of her work is the belief that meaningful change happens when people recognize their own strengths, develop greater independence, and begin making choices that are more aligned with the life they want to create.
